So Long Sweet Nora

We lost our sweet little Nora yesterday. She was hit by a car in front of our house. I am trying my hardest not to let myself think about it...but it is hard.




She was such a good cat. She showed up here as a kitten, just a tiny little thing. She was a momma to 5, earning her the more often used name of mommy. She was a happy cat that never really out grew being a kitten. Always playful and very affectionate. She would run around the yard and fly up into the trees. We really will miss her.

Missing

This summer officially blows. Ween is missing.....its been a week today. I don't have a good feeling about this one. We have had other cats missing around 5 days and then come home, but this is unlike Weenie.
We posted a bunch of signs yesterday and put flyers in mailboxes but haven't heard anything. I am trying to keep my mind off of it but am having a hard time doing so.

Clorox Crack Cats

Whenever I mop the floor I use a very mild bleach and water solution. For some reason the cats have to roll around on the wet floor when i am mopping. They go nuts. Then they lick themselves. How bad is this? I try to lock them out while I am mopping but with 7 of them it is difficult. My little damaged kitties aren't too bright.
