It snowed for the first time in weeks.....in fact its been almost as long as the amount of time I have spent away from posting on here. This has been a very atypical winter for us. Last year we were buried under several feet of snow. Before today storm, which was only about 6 inches, we could see patches of grass. The temperatures have been much warmer than normal as well, causing maple syrup season to start early here in Maine. In fact, Tony and I may try tapping a few of our own maples this year.

So glad you had a reprieve from heavy snow. I remember how awful it was last year - relentless snowfall. It's been snowing for four days here, but my bunny water doesn't even freeze at night!
It's been an atypical winter for us too but in the other way. It snowed again here today; unheard of for us!!
