My vacuum is dead. Ugh; and I just bought new bags for it. We have a shop vac but its useless on the rugs. I want one of
these, but will not be able to afford one anytime soon.

I'm a little surprised, not about the high tech vac (Miele?) but about the glitzy cleaning stuff. I thought you would be putting a little eucalyptus oil in a spray bottle and cleaning with that. A little lemon bleach in a spray bottle is a terrific cleaner and real cheap.
